Because it was presented so flippantly, with another contestant laughing while narrating the events, I assumed there would be another, subsequent scene with Corinne and DeMario in the pool, one that was handled with more gravity.

After the news broke, more details trickled in until a murky narrative was formed: On the first night, Corinne and DeMario drunkenly hooked up in the pool on the Paradise grounds, and a producer later flagged the footage as troubling. From illicit affairs to sexual assault claims, Bachelor Nation has seen some pretty intense drama in the franchise's history.
